Lichen & The Milky Way
From whence you came?
Tiny little stardust
streams
spiraling
through the
Milky Way.
Were you at the Birth?
Numinous cherubs
unseen,
singing creations
song
amongst the
Frankincense and Myrrh.
Did you line The Manger?
Sprinkled
in
the straw?
Were you the light
in the star?
Perhaps The Magi’s
awe?
Magical filamentous
mists,
interstellar
clouds
mingling
birthing
stars
as the
Cosmos sighs.
Did you ride
the waves of a Supernova?
Together?
Swept
on
sonic
undulations,
arriving deep
within
Sacred Caves.
The hermit
heard
your symphony
and prayed
for divine nectar.
You beckon…
Come inside
be with
me….
you allow
another
to merge
and another.
Singing in
exaltation,
there is
no
separation.
The rock feels
cloaked,
wrapped
in your
soft colonies
rapture,
as one body.
Quivering
that carries
the stars
multitudes.
You know
secrets,
songs,
sighs,
of longing,
ancient tongues
brought
to Earth in
your moist
whispers.
Pioneering elders
through space
and time.
Sweltering heat
cannot
deter you
nor
frozen wastelands.
Blooming.
Vast.
Your humility
knows
the Cosmos
A monk,
bows,
seeking
Gnosis.
The rocks
return to motion,
soften into soil,
trees
spring
up
yearning
for
the sky.
You are
in the bark,
sprouting
orchestrating
living
cycles.
Who
could
ever know?
A gift
to
behold,
emanating
eruptions
of color,
your
virtuosity.
Spectrums
and expanses,
the breath
creating time,
whispering
secrets of
Lichen and The Milky Way.
