Who is the retreat not a fit for?

Reconsider this retreat if you are struggling with trauma or mental health challenges to the degree you cannot self-regulate or struggle frequently emotionally. The retreat is not focused for trauma or any related work that needs special support. Although Prue is a Master Somatic Movement Educator, Craniosacral Therapist and Teacher, and works with trauma in her personal practice - the retreat is not the place for this depth of work.

Also reconsider if you have significant health challenges that would make walking or hiking or paddling difficult or endanger you. The retreat is not a bootcamp get fit quick or detox focus or special nutrition. It is also not a party event. The retreat is focused on a wellness holiday - where people come together to enjoy a guided experience for resourcing themselves. A creative timeout from the life

they know and for some personal growth in a shared environment.

Covid-19 policies

Unfortunately Covid-19 is still with us and is an ongoing evolving situation. Organizers will follow Maltas Health Directives and may also add their own if needed for everyones safety. Attendees may be asked to take covid tests, isolate in another location at their expense if they have Covid-19 or symptoms, or wear PPE such as masks, or wash hands or disinfect things. This may also be true for any other communicable diseases. A capacity to consider ones impact on other people and communities, and to have empathy for those with less capacity to manage contracting any virus is important.
